Mumbai Rains: Landslides Reported In Ghatkopar, Thane, Chunabhatti; City Remains Under Orange Alert

Heavy rains lashed Mumbai and surrounding areas on July 5 and the intense showers have continued into July 6. High-tide couple with heavy rains has led to waterlogging in several parts of the country’s financial capital. Andheri, Wadala, Sion, Dadar, Powai and 20 other locations reported waterlogging. BEST buses have been diverted on 25 routes, according to some reports. Landslides were reported from Ghatkopar, Chunabhatti and Mumbra. No casualty was reported however, there were minor injuries. Several other areas of Maharashtra are also under an extreme weather warning.
