Mumbai: Heavy Rains Causes Water-Logging, Jams & Delay in Train & Flight Services

Heavy rains witnessed across India. Streets in different parts of Mumbai were flooded following heavy rainfall in the state. Various streets across the city are water-logged much to the distress of the locals. Children had to wade through water to go to schools as streets were flooded in Dadar East. Railway tracks were also submerged between Sion railway station and Matunga railway station following heavy rainfall in parts of Maharashtra. Several bridges swept away due to heavy rain and flood in Maharashtra’s Jalna today. A road also got washed away in the district following the heavy rain in the area. Heavy rains lashed parts of Bhubaneswar on Sunday evening. Heavy showers brought respite from the heat. The Odisha government has put all the districts on alert in view of heavy rainfall forecast by IMD. Water entered Municipal Corporation Office in Indore today, following heavy rainfall in the city. Employees were seen working in the office despite rainwater flooding the office.
