Mumbai Gets First Monsoon Showers, BMC Confirms Waterlogging Threat at 180 Locations

Mumbaikars got the much needed respite from the sizzling heat as rains hit Mumbai on June 10. But, with rains comes the many woes to be faced by the financial capital of the country. The municipal body of Mumbai, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has confirmed that 180 areas of the city face the risk of water logging. Year after year the city has to face the problem of waterlogging.
