On October 17, The Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) In Mumbai Will Remain Closed. The Mumbai Airport Will Be Shut Down For Six Hours On October 17 From 11 Am To 5 Pm Due To Post-Monsoon Runway Repair. Owing To The Extensive Runway Renovations, Both Runways - 09/27 And 14/32 - Will Be Temporarily Closed To All Aviation Operations At The Prescribed Times. The Airport Has Also Scheduled Flights In Such A Way That Maintenance Is Completed Smoothly. According To CSMIA, The Primary Goal Of This Temporary Closure Is To Repair The Airport's Infrastructure To Maintain Standards And Passenger Safety. CSMIA Saidin Its Statement That It Is Looking Forward To Seeking Cooperation And Support From Passengers. Nearly 900 Flights Take Off And Land At This Airport Daily.
