Sona Mohapatra thanked all her fans as Anu Malik stepped down from Indian Idol 11. The singer also termed it as a symbolic victory for all women who have faced sexual harassment in the past. The issue irked in 2018, where Sona Mohapatra repeated alleged Anu Malik of sexual misconduct. However, Anu Malik has now stated that he will not stop until he gets justice and safeguard himself.
