On October 12, Manoj Tiwari, BJP MP was injured while protesting outside Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence. Tiwari and other party members were protesting against the ban on Chhath Puja celebrations at public places in view of the coronavirus pandemic. Tiwari was immediately rushed to the Safdarjung hospital for treatment. The actor turned politician is stable now. On October 9, Tiwari had tweeted asking Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal what was his intention behind banning the Chhath celebrations a month in advance. The Arvind Kejriwal led government has relaxed the restrictions on gatherings till November 15. But, a ban was imposed on conducting Chhath Puja in public places. Watch the video to know more.
