US is ‘shocked and horrified’ by the video of the two women being paraded naked in Manipur. A senior official from President Joe Biden’s administration said the US supports the Indian Government's efforts to seek justice for the women. The horrific video of two women being paraded naked and molested by a group of men on May 4 went viral on July 19. PM Narendra Modi had expressed anger over the incident. Seven people have been arrested for the horrific crime so far.
