Mamata Banerjee Ties Rakhi To Amitabh Bachchan At Jalsa In Mumbai, Says ‘Amit Ji Is Our Bharat Ratna’; Meets Aishwarya Rai Bachchan & Others

West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee celebrated Raksha Bandhan at megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s residence in Mumbai. She tied rakhi to Big B at his home Jalsa in Juhu. Banerjee is in Mumbai to attend Indian National Developmental Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) bloc meeting on August 31 and September 1. Banerjee visited the Bachchan residence and posed for pictures with the family. While talking to reporters, Banerjee said, “Amit ji is our Bharat Ratna. His family has also made a big contribution to the film industry.” She added, “Today I tied rakhi to Amit ji. Today is a big day.” Pictures and videos that have gone viral show Amitabh Bachchan, his wife Jaya Bachchan, son Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya and granddaughter Aaradhya welcoming Banerjee to their house.
