Maldives: Opposition Set To Move Impeachment Motion Against Pro-China President Mohamed Muizzu

On January 29, Maldivian Democratic Party (MDP), the main opposition party in Maldives, said it will submit a motion to impeach President Mohamed Muizzu. MDP holds a majority in Maldivian parliament. The decision for impeachment was taken after clashes broke out in the House between pro-government MPs and opposition lawmakers, reported PTI. Watch the video to know more.
