Maharashtra Unlock 4 Guidelines: What’s Allowed, What’s Not; State Crosses 7.9 Lakh COVID-19 Cases
Maharashtra, the epicentre of coronavirus in India, released fresh guidelines under Unlock 4 on August 31. The state government announced significant easing of restrictions as it continues to battle with the deadly coronavirus. All non-essential shops will be allowed to continue as per relaxations & guidelines issued from time to time. Liquor shops will continue to operate. Hotels and lodges will be allowed to operate at 100% capacity. Schools, colleges, educational and coaching institutions will remain closed till September 30, 2020. Cinema halls, swimming pools, entertainment parks, theatres (including that in malls and market complexes), bars, auditoriums, assembly halls and similar places. Metro Rail will not be allowed to function. Social /political/ Sports/ entertainment/ academic/ cultural/ religious functions and other large congregations. The number of coronavirus cases in Maharashtra has reached 7,92,541 with 24,583 deaths being reported.
