Maharashtra Now Under President’s Rule: All Questions Answered
President's rule has been imposed in Maharashtra under Article 356 of the Indian Constitution. The Union Cabinet took this decision as the various political parties in the state failed to form a government as none of them could cobble together the required number of 145 MLAs in the 288 seat assembly. President Ram Nath Kovind will govern the state through Governor Bhagat Singh Koshiyari.
