Maharashtra Assembly Polls: Mumbai Group Raps To Spread Awareness About Voting
A group in Mumbai has composed a rap to spread awareness about voting ahead of Maharashtra Assembly Polls. The group has made four rap songs in three languages including English, Hindi and Marathi. While speaking to ANI, group member Raj Shinde said, “Rap is a medium. Most of the rappers talk on social issues. Do work on mainstream topics is not bad. But one cannot leave social topics. Music is always very appealing and has a wide reach. We are conveying through music. People will remember that he said something like ‘go and vote’ etc. At least, they will listen to it.”
