BJP leader Sambit Patra came under fire after a video of him wherein he called Lord Jagannath a "bhakt" of Prime Minister Narendra Modi surfaced online on Monday, May 20. After the Congress and BJD slammed him, Patra said his remarks were a "slip of tongue" and announced fasting as an act of atonment.
