Lok Sabha: Opposition Parties Protest Fuel Price Hike

The opposition party members halted the proceedings of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha over the fuel price increase for the second day on March 23, reported The Indian Express. In the Lok Sabha, the protests were led by the Congress party, which, along with other opposition parties, blocked the Question Hour. They later staged a walkout. Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 12 pm amid the protests. Congress spokesperson Randeep Singh Surjewala also attacked the government over LPG price hike.
