TMC leader and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allegedly threatening action against opposition leaders after the Lok Sabha elections. PM Modi had accused the opposition of saving the corrupt and promised more stringent action against corrupt leaders after June 4. Reacting to his statement, Banerjee on Monday, April 8, said that the BJP’s "Modi ki Guarantee" implies imprisoning opposition leaders post-elections.
