Leopard Captured After Straying In To Hospital Campus In Wardha, Maharashtra

On October 25, a leopard was rescued in Wardha, Maharashtra after a 6-hour operation. The leopard had fallen into a drain in Sawangi (Meghe) hospital, reported PTI. Officials told PTI that the one-and-half year-old leopard has been shifted to Karunashram rescue centre. The leopard is being medically observed at the centre. “We deployed an anti-riot team and other police units to control the crowd at the site,” Rupesh Khedkdar, Range Forest Officer told PTI. The animal will be released in the wild after a 24-hour observation routine. Watch the video to know more.
