A violent mob ransacked property at the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, where a junior doctor was raped and killed last week. The mob entered the hospital during the protest for justice for the deceased doctor shortly after midnight on Thursday, August 15. The police resorted to lathi-charge and fired tear gas to disperse the crowd.
