Kerala has been battered with incessant rains. At least 24 people have lost their lives in landslides and flood-affected Kerala districts. As people struggle with their day-to-day life amid the heavy rains, a young couple did not let the weather conditions spoil their marriage festivities or delay the ceremony. Aishwarya and Akash converted a large aluminum cooking vessel into a boat in order to reach their wedding destination. Their wedding venue in Thalavady in Alappuzha district was itself partially flooded. The couple got married on October 18. One video, which has gone viral, shows the couple seated inside the aluminum cooking vessel, while some men push the big vessel in knee-deep water.
