Kedarnath Helicopter Crash: Seven, Including The Pilot, Killed In Mishap; PM Modi Expresses Grief

Seven people were killed after a helicopter crashed near Kedarnath in Uttarakhand on October 18. All seven people on board the chopper, including the pilot, lost their lives. Rudraprayag District Disaster Management Officer Nandan Singh told PTI that the helicopter burst into flames near Garud Chatti and Jungle Chatti, killing all seven. Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed grief and ordered an inquiry into the incident. Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said the incident was ‘extremely unfortunate’.
