Kargil Vijay Diwas 2019: On the 20th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the nation in paying tributes to the armed forces and soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country. In a tweet, PM Narendra Modi said he was working with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Jammu and Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh during the Kargil war and shared his pictures with soldiers of the Indian Army. President Ram Nath Kovind and the Indian Army also paid tribute to the martyrs.
