Jharkhand Assembly was disrupted from transacting any substantial business for the second day of its monsoon session on September 6. Opposition BJP created ruckus over allotment of a room for offering namaz. They also protested over the state's employment policy. BJP demanded adjournment motion to discuss the two issues. Question Hour too was disrupted by slogans like ''Jai Shri Ram'', ''Niyojan Niti Wapas Lo''. Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahto repeatedly appealed to the Opposition members to allow the proceedings of the House. However, after his failed attempts, the House was adjourned. BJP workers staged demonstrations outside the House with traditional musical instruments jhal and majeera. They sat on the stairs at the entrance of the Assembly chanting ''Hare Rama'' and ''Jai Shri Ram''. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party MLA Irfan Solanki on September 7 demanded a similar prayer room for Muslims in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly building. Watch the video to know more.
