James Michael Tyler, 'Gunther' In Friends, Dies After Prolonged Battle With Cancer

James Michael Tyler, the popular actor from ‘Friends’ died on October 24. 59-year-old Tyler played coffee shop manager Gunther in Friends. Warner Bros TV tweeted that it was mourning the loss of a beloved actor. Tyler featured in many other roles in series such as ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch’, ‘Scrubs’ & ‘Modern Music’. James Michael Tyler announced in June on NBC's show that he had been diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in September 2018. Tyler had said that the cancer had spread to his bones.
