Jallikattu In Tamil Nadu: Bull-Taming Festival Begins In Palamedu, Madurai

The famous bull-taming sport 'Jallikattu' began in Palamedu in Madurai on January 15. It is practiced in Tamil Nadu as a part of the Pongal celebrations. In Avaniyapuram, nearly 60 people were wounded, with 20 suffering serious injuries, As reported by ANI, a bull tamer was also injured in Palamedu. Jallikattu is practiced on the day of Mattu Pongal.
