India’s COVID-19 Tally Crosses 48 Lakh & 79,722 Deaths; Health Ministry Issues New Protocols For Those Who Have Recovered
India’s COVID-19 tally crossed 48 lakhs with a spike of 92,071 new cases & 1,136 deaths reported in the last 24 hours. The total case tally stands at 48,46,428 including 9,86,598 active cases, 37,80,108 cured/discharged/migrated & 79,722 deaths as per the Ministry of Health. India, on average, has been reporting at least 1,000 new deaths daily due to COVID-19 for the past three weeks now. Maharashtra has the maximum of coronavirus positive cases in the country as 22,543 people were on September 13 reported positive from the state, taking its total count to 10,60,308.
