India Sees Hottest February Since 1901; To Experience Heat Waves This Year

February was the warmest month in the past 122 years, the India Meteorological Department said on February 28. Monthly average maximum temperatures across the nation were the highest for February since 1901. India will witness heat waves during March and May.
