India Lockdown: Delhi Government Converts Schools Into Temporary Shelter Homes For Migrant Workers

In order to stop migration, Delhi government has started converting schools into temporary shelter homes for migrant workers. The number of cases in Delhi has reached 72 with two deaths being reported. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal appealed to people to help the weaker section of the society. Migrant workers in Delhi are trying to get home amid the lockdown. The out-of job workers want to leave Delhi. This has raised concerns about ‘social distancing.’ Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has been constantly urging people to stay indoors. The number of cases in India has crossed the1000 mark with 27 deaths.
