India In Stage 2 Of Coronavirus Outbreak: Here’s What It Means

The number of coronavirus-infected people in India has gone up to 147 with three deaths. A soldier in the Indian Army has tested positive for COVID-19. The confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the country are mostly those who have contracted the infection during their travel to other countries such as US, UK, Italy and France. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said that India is currently at Stage 2 of the coronavirus pandemic that has hit over 100 countries, this means that at present, there is no community transmission of the virus.
