Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, August 15, unfurled the national flag at the historic Red Fort in Delhi as India celebrated its 78th Independence Day. Addressing the national from the ramparts of the Red Fort, PM Modi highlighted how his government is working to fulfil the dream "Viksit Bharat" by 2047. He also made a strong pitch for a "secular" civil code in the country.
