Gita Jayanti celebrates the birth of the Bhagavad Gita as it is believed that on this day, Shri Krishna recited Gita to Arjuna, which was further scripted by a third person named Sanjay. As it was recited on the battlefield of Kurukshetra, grand celebrations take place on this day, which is part of the Gita Mahotsav.
