Google Pay, Paytm, PhonePe & Other UPI Payment Apps Might Impose Transaction Limit; Details Here

UPI payment apps like PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm and others might soon impose a limit on the transaction. Users will not be able to make unlimited payments using these apps. As reported by IANS, the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), which operates the UPI digital pipeline, is in discussions with the Reserve Bank about implementing its proposed December 31 deadline for limiting player volume to 30 per cent.
