Faridabad Police on July 24 saved a Delhi woman who tried to jump off a metro station balcony. Police officials convinced the woman to not take such a drastic step and rescued her from the edges. The incident took place on July 24 at around 6:30 pm at Faridabad's Sector-28 metro station. Police officials rushed to the spot upon learning that a woman was attempting suicide by jumping from the metro station. Sub-Inspector Dhan Prakash and constable Sarfaraz, who were posted at the police station at the time, reached the spot promptly.
Assessing the situation, Dhan Prakash, along with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel and metro staff, tried to occupy the woman's attention and kept talking to her. Meanwhile, constable Sarfaraz climbed the balcony from the other side and came closer to the woman to prevent her from jumping. Police officials, with the help of CISF personnel and metro staff, were able to safely rescue the woman. Watch the video to know more.
