FSSAI Begins Checking Spice Samples Of All Brands After Hong Kong, Singapore Food Regulators Flagged ‘Cancer-Causing’ Ingredient In Certain MDH, Everest Spices
After food regulators in Hong Kong and Singapore said that four spices-mix products of Indian brands MDH and Everest contain "cancer-causing" pesticide ethylene oxide beyond permissible limits, India's food safety regulator FSSAI has begun checking quality of spices in powder of all brands.
