Eid al-Adha 2024: PM Narendra Modi, President Droupadi Murmu, Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi & Others Extend Greetings On Bakrid

Bakrid, also popularly known as Eid al-Adha, is celebrated with great zeal by Muslims across the globe. Bakrid or the Festival of sacrifice falls on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic lunar calendar. On this auspicious occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended greetings. President Droupadi Murmu also wished people on this auspicious occasion. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said, “May this special day bring prosperity, joy, and harmony to all.” Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, “Eid-al-Adha embodies the virtuous principles of selfless sacrifice, trust, and forgiveness” West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also extended greetings.
