Dubai Rains: Heavy Rainfall Across UAE Leads To Severe Flooding At The Airport, Flights Diverted

On April 16, heavy rains lashed the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Several highways were flooded and cars were abandoned on roads across Dubai. Air travel was also disrupted across the desert country. Dubai International Airport, the world’s busiest for international travel, was forced to divert several incoming flights due to heavy rains. Entire UAE and neighbouring Bahrain experienced flooding. As per AFP, schools across the Emirates were closed. The storm claimed 18 lives in Oman. Watch the video to know more.
