Doctors Take Part In Mock Drill To Treat COVID-19 Patients, Says PPE Not Enough, Personal Hygiene Vital
DR Ravi Malik, a paediatrician said that use of personal protection kit is not enough. He said that doctors and other medical staff should maintain personal hygiene as well while treating COVID-19 patients. Dr Ravi Malik, Paediatrician said, “It’s not like if we wear the personal protective kit, it’s all done. Including the kit, our doctors and para medical staff have to maintain personal hygiene as well.” Meanwhile, doctors and other medical staff participated in a mock drill to treat coronavirus infected people. The mock drill included the procedure to wear a personal protection kit. It also focused on other precautionary measures to be undertaken while treating coronavirus patients & their samples. Dr Ravi Malik said, “Be it paramedical staff or medical staff or the lab staff everyone has to deal with coronavirus patients and samples with the protection kit.”
