DGCA Issues Rules For Air Passengers, Know Why You Can Be Declared 'Unruly' For Not Following It

On June 8, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) said that passengers who do not follow the Covid-19 norms, like wearing face masks inside the aircraft, can be treated as ‘unruly’. DGCA further said that such passengers can be deboarded ahead of departure, reported mint. DGCA said that the removal of masks will be permitted only under exceptional circumstances. The authority said that the CISF personnel will be in charge of enforcing the rules, reported mint. On June 8, India reported a total of 5,233 new Covid-19 cases. The health ministry said that the overall tally of Covid-19 cases in the country has reached 4,31,90,282. Watch the video to know more.
