Delhi MCD Election Results 2022: AAP Crosses The Majority Mark, Wins 126 Wards Of 250 Wards, BJP Bags 97 Wards

Arvind Kejriwal led Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) emerged victorious in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Elections. With this win, AAP brings an end to BJP’s 15-year hold over the civic body. AAP has won 126 wards, crossing the halfway mark in the 250 wards battle. The party is leading in nearly nine more seats. BJP campaigned for this election with PM Narendra Modi's face. BJP has won 97 wards and might cross the 100 mark. The Congress party has won seven wards and is leading in three more. Massive celebrations were seen at the AAP office in Delhi.
