Delhi Continued To Choke On A Thick And Toxic Layer Of Smog, As The Air Quality Index Was Still Falling Under The Severe Category On November 8. The Overall Air Quality Stood At 395 At 9:30 AM On November 8, As Per System Of Air Quality And Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR) Data. Several Residents And Commuters In Delhi Complained Of Breathing Problems And Urged The Government And The Authorities Concerned To Take Steps To Curb The Air Pollution, Reported ANI. On November 7, The Supreme Court (SC) Directed Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, And Rajasthan To Ensure That Crop Residue Burning Was Stopped “Forthwith.” This Comes Amid The Rising Pollution Levels In Delhi-NCR.
