Deepika Padukone Recipient Of The 26th Crystal Award, Speaks About Fighting Depression At Davos 2020

Deepika Padukone on January 21, received the Annual Crystal Award at the World Economic Forum in Davos. The 'Chhapaak' actress was recognised for her efforts to create awareness about the importance of mental health. She launched an NGO – Live, Laugh, Love that works towards increasing awareness of mental health issues. Padukone was also interviewed by Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization, on ending the stigma surrounding mental illness.
