COVID-19 Vaccine: Pfizer Says A Smaller Dose Triggers ‘Robust Response’ Among Children Aged 5-11 Yrs

Pfizer and BioNTech have released trial data for a Covid-19 vaccine for children aged 5 to 11 years old. The initial data shows the vaccine is safe for children, and generates a ‘robust’ response with a 10 μg (micrograms) jab administered 21 days apart for children between 5 and 11 years old. The news of the trial data comes as Covid-19 cases among children have gone up across countries as governments remove lockdown restrictions with adult populations undergoing vaccination.
