Covid-19 Numbers: Delhi Reports 27,000 Cases, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kolkata And India Figures
On January 13, India recorded 2.47 lakh Covid-19 cases. This is the highest single-day rise. India’s Covid-19 tally now stands at 3.63 crore. 5,488 cases of Omicron variant have been reported in the country. Maharashtra, which is one of the worst-hit states, added 46,723 new cases. Delhi recorded 27,561 new cases in the last 24 hours, most in a day since April. The financial capital of India, Mumbai recorded 16,420 cases. On January 12, Kolkata recorded 6,565 cases of the 21,098 cases recorded in West Bengal. Bengaluru reported 15,617 fresh Covid-19 cases, while Karnataka logged 21,390 new cases with a positivity rate of 10.96%.
