Coronavirus Update: 80,000 In China, 2,300 In South Korea & Over 100 In Iran Infected By Virus
Stock markets across the world crashed on February 28 over fears sparked by the Coronavirus outbreak. From the Dow Jones in the U.S. to the BSE Sensex in Mumbai, stocks have been spooked by the slowing down of production in China which is the epicenter of the outbreak. Bank of America economists briefed its clients on February 27 that they now expect 2.8% global growth this year, the weakest since 2009. Though reports over the past few days suggest that Coronavirus numbers in China is going down, the virus has now infected over 350 in Iran including a deputy minister and over 2000 in South Korea.
