Coronavirus Survivor Puts House On Sale After Social Boycott By Neighbours In Indore, Madhya Pradesh

A man in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh who recovered from COVID-19 has put his house on sale. Reason being social boycott by neighbours due to the disease. Deepak Sharma, coronavirus survivor said, “People have gone and told our milkman not to supply milk to us. People are saying don’t take the route my mother takes. They are scared that they will get coronavirus.” Sharma returned from abroad and tested positive for COVID-19. Following treatment, he tested negative and returned home. Upon his return, he faced social boycott by his neighbours. Superintendent of Police, Shivpuri, Rajesh Singh Chandel said an investigation is being conducted to find out the details. The total confirmed cases in Madhya Pradesh has reached 604 with 43 deaths being reported.
