Congress’s Pawan Khera Detained By Assam Police At Delhi Airport Soon After He Was Deplaned Over Remarks Against PM Modi

On February 23, Congress leader Pawan Khera was detained at the Delhi airport. The politician was detained after being deplaned from a flight to Raipur, Chhattisgarh’s capital. Dramatic scenes were witnessed at the airport as around 50 Congress leaders launched a protest on the tarmac. Khera was detained by the Assam police who arrived with a First Information Report (FIR). Soon after, Congress leaders staged a sit-in protest and shouted slogans. Recently, during a press conference, Pawan Khera messed up PM Modi's name. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma had tweeted, “Make no mistake- pathetic remarks by courtier Pawan Khera on PM’s father.” Watch the video to know more.
