Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the great Maratha warrior passed away on April 3, 1680. On Shivaji Maharaj Punyatithi, Twitterati paid tributes to the great King. Shivaji Bhonsle is known for defeating Mughal emperors and bringing Maratha power in Maharastra. He was formally crowned as the Chhatrapati of Raigad in 1674.
