Chethana Raj, Kannada Actor Dies After Fat Removal Surgery

On May 16, a young Kannada actor died in a tragic case at a private hospital in Bengaluru. 21-year-old Chethana Raj went to the hospital for a fat removal surgery. Chethana Raj’s family alleges that the young actor died due to the hospital's negligence, reported NDTV. Reportedly, Chethana Raj went with her friends to Dr Shetty's Cosmetic Clinic in Rajajinagar for a cosmetic surgery. Reports suggest that Chethana Raj did not inform her parents. Reportedly, her friend signed the consent form before the surgery. Reports suggest that soon after the surgery, her lungs reportedly filled up with fluid. Chethana Raj died of a cardiac arrest within hours, reported NDTV. A case has been registered against the doctors on a police complaint filed by the parents of the actor.
