Chandrayaan 3: India’s Rover Pragyan Finds Sulphur, Oxygen, Titanium, Aluminium And Other Elements On Moon’s South Pole

Chandrayaan 3 has found the presence of oxygen, aluminium, sulphur and other elements on the moon, said ISRO on August 29. Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) said an investigation regarding the presence of hydrogen is underway. As per ISRO, preliminary analyses have unveiled the presence of aluminum (Al), sulphur (S), calcium (Ca), iron (Fe), chromium (Cr) & titanium (Ti) on the lunar surface. Measurements have revealed the presence of manganese (Mn), silicon (Si) & oxygen (O) as well. On August 23, Chandrayaan-3’s Lander Module (LM) landed on the moon. India became the first country in the world to land on the south pole of the moon. Watch the video to know more.
