At T-56 minutes i.e. 56 minutes before 2:51AM at July 15, ISRO announced that it was putting the Chandrayaan-2 mission on hold as they had observed a glitch in the GSLV MK III rocket. No further information was provided. However, senior scientists and experts have hailed ISRO's decision to err on the side of caution and analyse the anomaly observed rather than moving forward with the mission.
