CBI, ED Director's Tenure Extended To 5 Years Through Ordinance Route

Central government has brought two ordinances concerning the extension of the tenures of the CBI and Enforcement Directorate chiefs. The extension has been for up to five years. President of India, Ram Nath Kovind has signed off both the ordinances. The chiefs can be given extensions every year for up to three years post completion of the two-year term.  Watch the video to know more.
