On February 1, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his views on the Interim Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman. The Interim Budget was the last one presented by the PM Modi led government as Lok Sabha elections are due later this year. While presenting the budgetNirmala Sitharaman said, “The next five years will be years of unprecedented development and golden moments to realise the dream of developed India by 2047.” PM Modi said the interim budget is "inclusive and innovative". He said the budget will empower all four pillars of Viksit Bharat – Yuva, Garib, Mahila and Kisan. He said the budget reflects the aspirations of a young India.
